Vikas Dubey's wife sends legal notice to producers making film over his life

Lucknow: Richa Dubey, wife of gangster Vikas Dubey, who was killed in a police encounter, has sent a legal notice to the author of a book and the manufacturers who are making film on her husband's life. Richa has demanded a ban on any material based on her husband's life and the Bikaru massacre, in which eight policemen were murdered by Vikas and his companions on July 3 last year.

Gangster Vikas was killed in an encounter on July 10 after being arrested from Madhya Pradesh. Richa, while sending legal notices through her lawyers, has said that if she does not get a satisfactory reply within seven days, she will file a petition in the High Court. Her lawyers have also sought intervention from the Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in the matter.

Richa's lawyers have said that the book and film which is being made on the Bikaru incident so that the image of her family is tarnished. It is to pervert the image of the family. The lawyer Prabha Shankar Mishra and Rishabh Raj informed the press that the book ' I am Vijay from Kanpur ' is being written by Mridul Kapil and a film based on this book is being produced.
