Today is the birthday of the very famous chef Vikas Khanna. He was born on 14 November 1971 in Amritsar and today he is the world's famous chef. However, very few people know that he was disabled at the time when he was born. At that time the design of his feet was not correct. Due to this, he used to sit in the kitchen with his mother and grandmother for hours, it was from here he started cooking in his life. He started working from the age of 17. It is said that he first opened a small banquet hall behind his house, but he could not succeed in this work.

After that, he did many other things but did not receive success. Vikas has also hosted the show 'Master Chef' on Star Plus and in this show he told, 'As a child, his grandmother used to make parathas in a small street in Amritsar and he would sell it with his mother.' Once, in an interview, Vikas told that, when he went to America, it was very difficult for him. He spent many nights sleeping on the streets and at the station, not only that, he also had to do things like washing dishes at times.

Vikas got an opportunity to work in 'Salman Bombay', a New York restaurant and after that, he was invited to come on a show after about 7 years. He, along with Rajesh Bhardwaj, opened a restaurant named 'Junoon' in New York in 2010 and today it is the most famous restaurant in America. He is in the list of famous chefs today and he has also prepared food for the Prime Minister and President of India.
