New Delhi: The weather has changed in north India including Delhi-NCR. The weather in Delhi-NCR has been pleasant since this morning (June 4). There is light rain with cloudy thunder. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be heavy rains in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and other states of north India on Sunday. On the other hand, people are facing a lot of problems due to heatwave in Bihar and West Bengal. 

The Meteorological Department has issued the latest update, saying that light to moderate rains and dust storms are expected in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, including Delhi, on Sunday. While the previous day i.e. Saturday was facing heat, now there is relief from the sky for the people. In Bihar and West Bengal, heatwave has put people's noses in the nose. According to the Meteorological Department, the heatwave in Bihar has broken the record of the last 17 years. On May 31, 2007, the temperature was 40.7 degrees. After that, the hottest day has now been recorded on June 3, 2023. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in Bihar is likely to cross 40 degrees on Sunday. Apart from this, the maximum temperature can reach 42 to 43 degrees in the next 7 days. Due to this, heatwave conditions will remain during the day. 

Strong winds with a speed of 30-50 km per hour will prevail in Delhi's Safdarjung, Lodhi Road, IGI Airport as well as Loni Dehat, Bahadurgarh, Ghaziabad, Indirapuram, Chhapraula, Noida, Dadri, Greater Noida. Other states of Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Odisha, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Konkan-Goa are also likely to receive rains on Sunday. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature is likely to be above 40 degrees Celsius in some places of Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Telangana. Apart from this, the weather is going to take a turn with heavy rains in Gurugram, Faridabad, Manesar, Ballabhgarh, Sonipat, Rohtak, Kharkhoda, Charkhi Dadri, Mattanhel, Jhajjar, Farrukhnagar, Kosli, Sohna, Palwal, Nuh, Aurangabad, Guloti, Secunderabad, Bulandshahr, Jahangirabad, Shikarpur, Khurja, Pahasu.
