Mumbai: Directorate of Revenue Intelligence Mumbai has recovered a consignment of ganja worth Rs 39.5 crores from two consignments of USA couriers. In this action, two Indian nationals who were part of this drug cartel were arrested. Acting on intelligence inputs, officers of the DRI Mumbai Zonal Unit checked two USA-origin courier consignments imported at the courier terminal at Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai. This consignment is from the USA. After investigation, 86.5 kg of high quality hydroponic ganja hidden in the consignment was recovered.

This consignment of ganja was misdiagnosed as an 'Outdoor Concrete Firepit' and was sent to Bhiwandi, Maharashtra. Many agencies worked hard to recover such a huge consignment of ganja. After these discoveries, the action was taken on the drug cartel, under which 2 Indian nationals were arrested from Mumbai, Maharashtra.
