Srinagar: Daily cases of coronavirus have been on a record rise in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir for the past few days. Due to which the government has imposed new restrictions. The government has issued fresh guidelines in Jammu and Kashmir, upholding the already issued restrictions, including a weekend curfew. In the meantime, unnecessary traffic will be restricted.

The decision was taken by the State Executive Committee (SEC) on Friday after reviewing the latest status of the Coronavirus. Which has been headed by the Chief Secretary. The government has said that the restrictions imposed in Jammu and Kashmir will remain in force till further orders. According to the order, unnecessary movement will be completely banned over the weekend, with night curfew in force from 9 pm to 6 am.

On the other hand, speaking of other restrictions, more than 25 people will not be able to attend indoor or outdoor events. Only 25 vaccinated people with covid negative reports can enter the banquet hall, while 25 per cent of the total capacity can enter the open field. Following the SoP, only 25 per cent of the total capacity will be allowed to enter activities like cinema halls, theatres, gyms and swimming pools. On the other hand, all schools, colleges, ITI, coaching centres will have to study online.
