Kolkata: West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee has targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over the Hathras gangrape case.  Addressing a rally in Kolkata on Saturday, she said, "The biggest epidemic is the BJP. The bjp sends commission after commission whenever something happens here.

Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee lashed out at the Bjp while addressing a rally in Kolkata on Saturday. "I sent a delegation yesterday, but we were stopped by the police. Minimum etiquette was not shown and our women MPs were abused," she said.

Mamata Banerjee added, "I have specific information that press persons and media houses are being threatened. We are fighting, but let me tell the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), we are not afraid of your bullets."  A delegation of TMC leaders, including Rajya Sabha MP Derek O'Brien and Lady MP of Lok Sabha, Pratik Mondal, were stopped about a kilometre from the victim's home in Bulgarhi village.
