According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department (IMD) after the ongoing seasonal changes in the country, due to the effect of western disturbance, northeastern states are likely to splash with heavy rain and thunderstorms for Wednesday and next few days. According to the weather bulletin, 'there is a possibility of heavy rainfall at different places in Assam and Meghalaya'.

The Meteorological Department said that apart from Assam and Meghalaya, there is a possibility of thunderstorms with lightning, hail and strong winds at different places in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit Baltistan, Himachal Pradesh tomorrow (May 14). IMD advisor said, Rajasthan and western Uttar Pradesh will be splashed with a dust storm and thunder.

Apart from this, he said, " With the bad weather there is a possibility of wind blowing at a speed of 40-50 km per hour in the southeastern Gulf of Bengal and adjoining the equatorial Indian Ocean and South Andaman Sea. Fishermen are advised not to go fishing in these areas.
