Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshahr district, some people who arrived on contract to buy liquor were refused by the shopkeeper, then they set the shop on fire. Not only this, the accused also looted 40 thousand rupees and liquor bottles kept in the contract. In fact, due to the closure of liquor sales on the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti in Gangavali village under Bulandshahr, government contract salesmen had refused to give liquor to some people. This enraged the liquor-seekers so much that they started pelting stones and set the shop on fire.

Several motorcycles and a Scorpio car were also burnt to ashes due to the fire. Now the police have arrested four accused by registering a case in this regard. According to the report, on the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti on April 14, 5 people came on contract to ask for liquor in the night. The salesman was close to the contract. The accused who sought liquor first asked the name of the contractor and when the contractor was not found on the spot, he started pressurizing him to take liquor from the salesman.

When the salesman refused to give liquor, the accused broke into the contract by breaking the lock of the shop. The accused looted cash and liquor worth Rs 40,000 kept in the contract. When the salesman called and informed the police about the incident, the police reached the spot and took the salesman to the police station to register the case. Meanwhile, the accused set the shop on fire.
