Bhopal: The weather patterns in Madhya Pradesh have changed for the last several days. At the same time, many parts of the state have also recorded rainfall in the summer season. So now the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of delayed arrival of monsoon in the state. According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon will reach Madhya Pradesh from June 24 to 25 this year. This will be the first time in 5 years. However, in the meantime, there is a possibility of rain with strong winds across the state.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the arrival of monsoon in Kerala was predicted on June 4, but here the monsoon was delayed by 4 days, now the monsoon will arrive in Kerala by June 8. Apart from this, the possibility of monsoon in Madhya Pradesh was said to be from June 18 to 20. Due to the late monsoon, it can now enter Madhya Pradesh from June 24 to 25. In such a situation, monsoon will also arrive late in Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior and Jabalpur. However, thunderstorm and rain are likely to occur in many parts of the state. The normal onset date for monsoon over Madhya Pradesh is June 14-15. However, this time the weatherman had predicted the arrival of the monsoon from June 18 to 20. Due to the delay in the activation of monsoon, it can enter Madhya Pradesh from June 24 to 25. Significantly, the monsoon arrived late five years ago in the year 2018. Then on June 26, the monsoon entered. 

Last year, monsoon arrived in Bhopal on June 20. The monsoon arrived in Indore on June 17 and in Gwalior on June 30. In Madhya Pradesh, the weather seems to be constantly changing. On Tuesday, Bhopal, Narmadapuram, Sagar and Gwalior received light rainfall. Damoh and Khajuraho recorded a maximum temperature of 42.5 degrees Celsius. More than 17 cities across the state have recorded temperatures above 40 degrees. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has predicted light rain with thundershowers in Indore, Dhar, Betul, Raisen, Chhindwara, Neemuch etc. districts in the next 3 days.
