Lucknow: Schools and colleges have been closed in Uttar Pradesh for a long time. Offline classes have been banned in view of the growing threat of corona infection in the state. Schools and colleges have been closed in the province since the first week of January. After considering the status of the infection, its duration has also been extended twice. The schools were first closed till January 16, after which they were closed for January 23 and then till January 30. Now the administration is going to consider once again the corona crisis and the situation of the school.

It is likely that a meeting in this regard may be held tomorrow on January 29, in which it will be decided whether the schools and colleges can be opened for now or not. Earlier also, in the weekly corona review meeting on Saturday, schools and colleges were ordered to remain closed. In view of the current situation of Corona, it is possible that offline classes for senior classes in schools and exams in colleges may be allowed soon.

At present, only online studies are allowed in educational institutions. Due to this, the semester exams of the university-college have also been postponed. Semester exams can be held only after the offline classes are re-allowed. Along with this, the UP Board 10th, 12th exams are also scheduled to be held in March, for which the schools of senior classes can be started soon.  The update in this regard will be released before January 30.
