Lucknow: The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh had recently ordered a survey of unrecognized madrassas. In protest against this, Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind held a meeting on Tuesday. In this meeting, the headmasters of madrasas of different districts of UP participated. It is being told that in this meeting, many resolutions will be passed against the order of the survey of the UP government. Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) member Kamal Farooqui also attended the meeting. This meeting has been called by Maulana Mahmood Madani, chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind.

In this meeting, Kamal Farooqui alleged that the government was targeting madrassas. Bulldozers are running on madrasas. During this, he said that madrassa is a matter of our rights. All madrasas are becoming modern. The question has been raised on the survey in the meeting of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind. During this, Maulana Ishtiaq Ahmed Qadri said on the instructions of the survey given by the government that if the intention is right, then it is welcome, but the madrassa is already facing many problems with the help. He said that out of 16 and a half thousand madrasas, only 500 get the help of the government, the rest are running on donations. So it is not right to question them.

Ishtiaq Ahmed Qadri said that madrasas have nothing to gain, while there is much to lose. He said that the experience of the government regarding madrasas has not been good before. In such a situation it is difficult to trust the government. Already education is not being done in government schools. So what has the government done to improve the condition of madrassas?

Terrorists caught from madrasas:-

Let us tell you that recently many terrorists have been arrested from madrasas in Assam. In the last few weeks, the police arrested terrorists belonging to the terrorist organization Al Qaeda Indian Subcontinent (AQIS) and Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT). These terrorists were working as imams or clerics in mosques and madrasas. The latest arrest was made on Wednesday (31 August 2022) of a terrorist named Ajmal Hussain. He was nabbed by the police from the capital Guwahati. Ajmal was a cleric in a madrasa, but was working for the terrorist organization Al Qaeda and the Ansarullah Bangla team. Assam DGP Jyoti Mahanta has claimed that terrorists in the state are hiding in the guise of clerics and carrying out anti-national activities. So far 38 terrorists have been apprehended in Assam, and 3 such madrasas have been demolished, which had become the den of terrorism. There Terrorists have also been arrested several times from Darul Uloom Deoband in Uttar Pradesh. Some such jihadis have also been caught, who were infusing the poison of radicalism among the Muslim youth of India, in such a situation, if a survey of madrasas is conducted for the security of the country, then what is the problem in that?
