In Maharashtra, the state government has imposed a night curfew in the wake of the rising covid case. Cases like partial lockdown have been issued. The Maharashtra government on Tuesday announced that a night curfew is going to be imposed in Mumbai from Wednesday after 8 pm. In the meantime, there is going to be only flexibility to carry essential services and goods. Restaurants have been closed, food delivery has been approved across the state. Zomato may not have understood the Maharashtra government's night curfew order. So, Zomato co-founder and CEO Deepinder Goyal, who had come to the fore overnight curfew from 8 pm, climbed on to his arch-rival Swiggy. Goyal tweeted.

Know what CEO Deepinder Goyal: Where It has been revealed that the CEO of Zomato wrote that Zomato is ready for the delivery of essential food items after 8 pm in night curfew in Mumbai, but we are not doing so because we will follow the law. But I see that our competitor is delivering even after 8 p.m. I request the Mumbai Police to come clean on this case.

Swiggy did not say anything but the Mumbai Police immediately replied. Mumbai Police wrote that please read the government notification, home delivery has been allowed but there is no time frame. After which Zomato realized his mistake and apologized.

Social media has been a buzz storming: Ever since then, the case has become the talk of the town on Twitter. Zomato is getting a lot of work. Someone wrote, "Get their legal team out of your job." Someone said that Zomato is complaining of Swiggy like a young child in a school, as children do in primary schools.
