Amritsar: Slogans of 'Khalistan Zindabad' were found written on the wall of Kali Mata temple before Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal arrived in the middle of the Lok Sabha by-election in Punjab's Sangrur. As soon as it was discovered, there was a commotion in the police department. However, the administration erased the slogans by getting the slogans painted ahead of kejriwal and bhagwant mann's roadshow. Let us know that the election code of conduct is in force in Sangrur and voting is scheduled to be held on June 23, 2022.

Slogans of "Punjab Hull Khalistan SFJ" and "Referendum 26 January 2023" were written on the gates and walls of kali mata temple in Sangrur town. According to the media report, the incident is being reported on Sunday night and now all these slogans have been erased by the Sangrur administration. The places where slogans were written have been painted and the Punjab Police is refraining from saying anything in the matter. Though the pro-Khalistan slogan and demand in Punjab is nothing new, the formation of the Bhagwant Mann government of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has led to a spurt in the demand for Khalistan in Punjab. Many media reports are making such a claim. In such a situation, such acts of Khalistani elements in Punjab are raising questions on the law and order of the state.

Let us know that last week, khalistan zindabad slogans have also been seen in Faridkot and Ferozepur. In Faridkot, pro-Khalistani slogans were seen written first on the park of Jajgar Basti and then on the wall of the judge's kothi. After this, similar slogans were also written outside the divisional railway manager's (DRM) kothi in Ferozepur. Let us know that last time also, even before the proposed programme of Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann in Jalandhar, khalistan supporters had met the writings. At the same time, an atmosphere of separatism is being created by Khalistan supporters in Punjab every day. Sometimes there is anti-India sloganeering, sometimes there is objectionable slogans written on the walls.  However, the question is, why do Khalistani activities intensify in Punjab before Kejriwal's visit or even before any political programme?
