Patna: RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav has once again raised the issue of Babri Masjid. Apart from this, the matter of the arrest of BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani during his CM tenure in the year 1990 was also remembered. In fact, on Monday night, RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, remembering his old days, posted on Twitter that 'The issue of Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid has brought the country to a critical point.

I had taken Advani into custody and sent a message to the entire world that peace-loving and secular forces are still strong in India. We have the power to overthrow the radical and fascist forces. It has been learnt that the RJD had decided to celebrate Babri Masjid Martyrdom Day on 6th December, monday. State President Jagdanand Singh had informed about the celebration of Babri Masjid Martyrdom Day at the party's state office.

Advani arrested by Lalu on October 23, 1990: Advani's rath yatra was scheduled to start from Somnath on September 25, 1990 and end with karseva in Ayodhya on October 30. However, on the way to Bihar, the yatra received so much public support that the then governments were surprised. Advani was taken into custody by the then Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav on October 23.
