Suryapet: Due to having an affair with another man in Suryapet, a lady Bujji offered a betel nut of Rs 90,000 to kill her husband Bhukya Balaji. Later on the police suspected it to be a natural death. However, on the complaint of the victim's brother, the police investigated the matter and arrested 6 people.

According to Kodada DSP Raghu, the victim was identified as Bhukya Balaji (40) and his wife Bujji called it a natural death. However, Balaji's brother, who suspected Bujji, lodged a police complaint. The police team led by CI Sivaram Reddy launched an investigation and found out that the woman had paid a betel nut of Rs 90,000 to kill her husband. It is said that Bujji had an extra martial affair with one Parashurama, who lived in the same village when her husband was in Dubai.

Balaji, who returned home four months ago, came to know about his wife's affair two months ago, which often led to quarrels between them. Meanwhile, Bujji decides to get rid of her husband and seeks the help of her lover who hired killers and strangled Balaji to death. Police arrested six people in the case and sent them on remand.
