Jagdalpur: After confirming the death of wanted Naxalite Ramanna in six states including Chhattisgarh, the first picture of her funeral has come to light. It is being told that the Naxalite worth about 1.50 crore died on December 7 after a long illness. After several days of doubt, his death was confirmed by the Naxalites on 12 December.

After escaping from Jagdalpur jail on 25 June 1989, the police and intelligence department could not even find Ramanna's photo. In the photo of Ramanna's funeral on Monday, an armed woman Naxalite is seen giving shoulder to her bier. It is being told that Ramanna, a member of the Central Committee of Naxalites, died in Palaguda on December 7 due to typhoid disease. Two days later his wife Savitri and son Ramesh Bothelanka arrived for his funeral. After his arrival the last rites were performed.

Ramanna had a reward of about one and a half crores and was wanted in six regions. Ramanna in Chhattisgarh had a reward of 40 lakhs. Apart from this, that reward was also announced in Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Odisha, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The police had also announced a reward of lakhs of rupees to the person who brought Ramanna's picture.
