Tokyo: India is on the top of the Tokyo Paralympics. Now, India has got another silver medal in its bag. In fact, this time the country has got both silver and gold. Yogesh Kathuniya has given India silver with his stunning win in the final of the men's discus throw event. In fact, Yogesh Kathuniya won silver for India in the F56 category. He did his season-best to achieve this success. In fact, Yogesh measured a distance of 44.38 meters and gave the country silver at the Tokyo Paralympics.

This is India's 5th medal at the Tokyo Paralympics this time. Yogesh Kathuniya, who lived a normal life till the age of 9, had to come in a wheelchair in 2006. To put her son back on her feet, her mother Meena Devi learned physiotherapy and started giving treatment on her own. After nearly 3 years of hard work, Yogesh stood on his feet again. Finally, the result is that today he managed to win India a silver medal at the Tokyo Paralympics.

Yogesh Kathuniya won a bronze medal at the 2019 World Para Athletics Championships in Dubai to make it to the Tokyo Paralympics. Yogesh now took the silver medal in Tokyo and brought glory to India all over the world.
