A minor girl has been gang-raped in Sahibganj district. On Sunday evening, four boys in the area kidnapped the girl from her house and then took her to the bushes on the banks of the pond, 500 meters away from the house. After this, all of them gang-raped the girl and tried to kill her. When the girl fell unconscious, the four youths fled leaving her there thinking she died. After some time, when she regained consciousness, the girl informed her aunt about the incident on the phone. The family then took her to the police station. The family members told the police that the statue immersion was taking place in the area on Sunday evening. During this, DJ was also being played loud.
This is why all of us had gone out of the house to see the Visarjan. During this, four boys of the area, seeing the girl alone in the house, kidnapped and gang-raped her and fled. The family members told the police that they had also tried to kill the girl. In the case, the police said that the girl has been gang-raped. A case has been registered under the POCSO Act. The girl has been medically examined and is undergoing treatment. A suspect has been arrested and a search is on for the absconding criminals.
