SC to hear plea to conduct NEET in Urdu

The plea filed by the Students Islamic Organisation (SIO) seeking to conduct the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) in the Urdu language will be heard by supreme court today.

On March 10, the center before the apex court submitted that it is open to conduct the exam in Urdu language but it also mentioned that it will be impossible for it to include in the provision for NEET 2017.

The Neet will be held in 10 languages i.e Hindi, English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Oriya and Kannada as per the notification by the Central Broad of Secondary Education (CBSE).
