On Thursday, the new schemes have launched by the Government through the NITI Aayog Chairman Amitabh Kant, ?The government has initiated numerous steps to combat the scourge of corruption and black money in the last two and a half years. There has been a significant spurt in digital payments post demonetization?

Government has given a full proof way to make people Millionaire by launching ?Lucky Grahak? Yojna for consumers, which will be commencing from 25th December 2016 and lasts till 14th April 2017, (a day of Baba Sahib Ambedkar Jayanti), after which the consumers will be awarded with a mega prize of Rs. 1 crore for making digital payments. There will be daily, weekly, and mega draws.

Well, this scheme is not limited to ?Grahak? only, as there is also another scheme has launched for ?Vyapari? which is titled as ?Digi Dhan Vyapari Yojana?. The mega prize for this scheme will be Rs. 50 Lakh.

Meanwhile, under the ?Lucky Grahak? scheme there will be three winners as: The person with first position will be awarded with a prize of Rs.1 crore, first runner up will get Rs. 50 lakh and the second runner up will be awarded with 25 lakh.

Similarly, the first winner of ?Digi Dhan Vyapari Yojana? will grab Rs. 50 lakh, second winner-25 lakh and the third one will get 5 lakh.

However, the CEO of NITI Aayog added, ?Point of Sale (PoS) transactions have jumped 95% after demonetization. The government's move to decommission Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes, was touted as a masterstroke to weed out black money from the system and later, as a move to shift to a cashless economy. ?

Kant, although introducing the schemes, said, "We cannot afford a parallel economy."
