Bemetara: In a shameful incident, a 10-year-old innocent was sexually assaulted by a minor who was addicted to watching obscene videos on mobile phones in Chhattisgarh's Bemetara district. To prevent this act from coming in front of the people, he hanged the body after killing the girl. Police in Chhattisgarh's Bemetara district has arrested a 17-year-old minor criminal for allegedly raping and murdering a 10-year-old girl. Police officers gave this news on Tuesday.   

Police officials said that the police of Kotwali police station of the district have caught a boy from the neighborhood in connection with the rape and murder of the girl. On November 26, the police received information that the girl had committed suicide by hanging herself in her house. After the information, a police team was sent to the spot. Later, the police team recovered the body of the girl and sent it for post-mortem.    

Police officials said that after the post-mortem report came to know about the rape of the girl, a case of murder was registered and an investigation was started into the case. He said that during the investigation, the police suspected a boy from the neighborhood and questioned him. The boy later confessed to his crime. Police officials said that during the interrogation, the boy informed the police that he was addicted to watching obscene videos on his mobile. On the 26th, he saw the obscene video on his mobile and went to the house of the girl living in the neighborhood. During this, he saw the girl alone and raped her, and hanged the girl from the noose for fear. After committing the incident, he went to his house. The police have sent the culprit boy to a juvenile home.
