Jharkhand (Ramgarh): On Friday the court has convicted 11 people included a BJP leader in the murder case of Asghar Ansari, noted after Gauraksha. The sentence will be declared on March 20. This will be the first time the court will punish an accused of the murder, in the name of Gauraksha.

It is known that Alimuddin aka Asghar Ansari was beaten to death by a mob in Ramgarh, on June 29, 2017, in connection with carrying a beef.

On the day Ansari was attacked, PM Narendra Modi has appealed do not take the law in the hands-on the name of Gau Raksha.

It is said that Asghar Ansari was carrying about 200 kg of beef in his van when he was attacked. His car was set on fire at the very moment.

This incident took place in the market of Ramgarh city, the accused had also made the video which got viral on social media, after setting the fire. In the incident, two-three major accused, including local BJP leader Nityanand Mahato had surrendered. The other accused also surrendered and showed that they are also guilty.
