Thiruvananthapuram: On Wednesday, 1195 people have been confirmed infected with the corona virus in Kerala, and 7 more have died. After this, there have been about thirty thousand cases of corona infection in the state. The death toll has come down to 94. In this regard, CM P Vijayan said that 971 patients have already suffered from contact with corona infected person, while the source of corona infection of 79 people is not known. So far, 29,145 people have been infected due to corona infection in the state.

66 people found corona infected had returned from abroad, while 125 people have come from other states. He told reporters here that thirteen health workers are among Corona infected people. On Wednesday, 274 cases were reported in Thiruvananthapuram. In this case, Vijayan said that 25,906 samples have been investigated in the last twenty four hours. He further informed that 1.47 lakh people have been kept under observation, out of which 11,167 are admitted in the hospital. Of these, 1447 people have been admitted to the hospital today.

CM said that so far a total of 4,17,939 samples have been sent for investigation. There are 515 hotspot areas till date. Fishing activities will start from 7 August because fishermen have been warned not to go into the sea on 5 and 6 August keeping in mind the turbulent sea.
