Lucknow: Even after stringent laws, crimes against women and girls are not stopping. The latest case has been reported from the Basti district of Uttar Pradesh. Where a case of a teenager doing the wrong thing with a five-year-old innocent girl has come to light. It is alleged that a boy from the village took her home on the pretext of giving her chocolates and raped her. At the same time, the police registered a case on the complaint of the victim's father.

The incident took place in the Munderwa police station area of the district. The five-year-old girl was playing outside the house on Thursday evening. According to the information, a 13-year-old teenager of the village lured her with chocolates and took her to his house. The youth is a student of Class 7. When the teenager's younger brother came to know about this, he informed his grandmother. When the grandmother reached the house, the teenager ran away from the spot on seeing her.

At the same time, the family members of the innocent called 112 and called the police and informed them about the incident. After this, the police took the accused teenager into custody. Station House Officer Parmanand Yadav has informed that on the basis of the complaint of the victim's husband, the teenager has been arrested. A case under Section 376AB and POCSO Act has been registered against the youth and further action is being taken.
