Ahmedabad: Corona has been wreaking havoc all over the country.  Talking about Gujarat,  the state confirmed the highest number of 1320 new infections on Friday. The health department said in a release that the cases of corona in the state have been 1,01,695 in the state. Fourteen infections died due to corona throughout the state, the release said. The death toll in the state has now gone up to 3,078.

In this regard, the release said that 1,218 more infected have been discharged from the hospital in the last 24 hours. The total figure of people recovering from the corona has since gone up to 82,398. At present, 16,219 infections are undergoing treatment in the state.

The total corona infection cases in the district have risen to 32,184 after 171 new corona infection cases were reported in ahmedabad in the state's capital. In addition, 4 more infections have died after which the death toll has risen to 1,745. It took only thirteen days for India to get 4 million from 30 lakh cases. This means that a million cases of coronavirus have been reported in the past 13 days. There has also been an increase in the number of people recovering from the infection.
