Kovalam: Police detained a 25-year-old resident of Karnataka for sexually assaulting a 35-year old Japanese woman in the kovalam district of Kerela.
Yesterday, police officials arrested the convict Teja following the rape charges filed by the victim.
“The incident took place on Friday night. A case has been registered against Teja under section 376 of the Indian Penal Code”.
The hotel staff took the 35-year-old to the government SAT Hospital after they found her wounded and bleeding in the room.
