Pune: In an appalling case, two minors allegedly sexually assaulted a six-year-old boy. A 13-year-old boy and a 12-year-old boy were booked by the Pimpri Chinchwad police. The accused were booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012. 

According to the report, the shocking incident came to light when the mother of the victim asked about his posture and asked him to sit properly. The accused and the victim stay in the same village and hail from a similar family background.

S Handal, Police sub-inspector,  told the Hindustan Times that the boy had been sick since the past 10-12 days. When his mother asked him to cross his legs and sit, the victim complained of pain in his legs and was taken to Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial Hospital. 

As per report, After initial treatment the doctors shifted the six-year-old victim to the Sassoon General Hospital. The matter came to the fore after the police received a call from an anonymous informer.

After receiving the call, sub-inspector, S Handal paid a visit to the hospital and had a conversation with the victim's mother.

Police issued notices to the parents of the two accused. The notice directed the parents of the accused to come to the police station. From there, the police intends on sending the two accused to the Juvenile Justice Board situated in Yerwada.
