Aligarh: Big news is coming from Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh. About seven people have died due to consumption of poisonous liquor in different villages here. While the condition of two persons is still critical, they are undergoing treatment at the hospital. Police administrative officials rushed to the spot after receiving information about the death due to drinking alcohol. After which two desi liquor contracts of the village have been sealed.

The case pertains to Karsua and Andla villages under Lodha police station area of Aligarh district. According to reports, about 7 people were killed when they consumed desi liquor inside Karsua village and had some gas plant in there body. According to locals, the deceased had purchased liquor from the village contract and consumed it. Two of the deceased are drivers of the gas bottling plant located in Karsua village. Police administrative officials rushed to the spot as soon as they came to know about the death due to drinking alcohol. Police have seized two bodies and rushed them for postmortem.

Meanwhile, two contracts of desi liquor have been sealed following complaints from villagers. Both these contracts belong to the same person. Also, samples of liquor have been taken and sent for testing. It is only after the investigation and postmortem report that we will know how the people died. Aligarh DM Chandra Bhushan Singh said that 7 people have died so far. The matter is under investigation and action will be taken on the basis of whatever comes out of the investigation.
