Muzaffarpur: The alleged incident took place in the Sanpura village which is situated in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. An appalling incident took place in Muzaffarpur when a teenager was killed by a group of seven men. The 17-year-old was killed because of attending school. The police has arrested four of the seven accused. The incident surfaced on Sunday. The deceased's brother went to the police and informed them about the alleged incident.

According to the source report, the accused had held the deceased's brother and his wife hostage. The accused had allegedly held the two hostage at their resident. The deceased was allegedly murdered on Friday night. A villager stated that the community members were against girls studying after matriculation level. Since the deceased did not conform to their belief, the accused murdered her. The Deputy Superintendent of Police (west) KM Prasad said that they had filed an FIR against seven people and four of the accused have been nabbed.

Here it is to be noted that another incident where a life was lost to the stagnant mentality of people. A man allegedly murdered his daughter after over her friendship with a boy. The accused even tried to burn the body of the deceased after killing her. The accused had asked his daughter to stop talking to the boy but when the latter did not stop, he decided to kill her. The alleged incident took place on March 23. After killing her, the accused allegedly filed a missing complaint with the police. However, he was later caught when the deceased's sister found the burnt body near her house.
