CHANDIGARH: During the class X board exam a high school principal allegedly raped a 16-year -old student on the pretext of helping her clear her exams. The principal made a dummy student write her physical education paper on Tuesday. While the paper was going on he raped the girl in a nearby house.

Police officials slated the principal and two other women under the Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences (Pocso) Act on Tuesday night.

The women are booked for criminal conspiracy as the rape took place in their house.

All three are absconding since Tuesday night and search operations are underway. The father said that while he was talking to his daughter, the accused and the two women managed to flee the house.

The principal is also an owner of the school on the outskirts of Gohana town in Sonipat. The father was ready to pay 10,000 Rs to the principal as a part of the deal in which principal has promised the girl's father to help his daughter clear the exams.

The girl's father told the police, "On March 8, the principal called me and my daughter to a school on the outskirts of Gohana. The principal then asked me to leave my daughter at his relative's place. He said another girl would write my daughter's exam."

The girl told all the happening to her father when he reached to pick her up from the house where rape has taken place as he was instructed that the girl will be sitting there during the exam hours.
