A 50-year-old man has been arrested by Hyderabad police harassing his wife for dowry. In which world we are living. people still ask for dowry knowing that it's a criminal offence. Mohammed Shareef is 50 years old .he got married in the year 1991. He is harassing his wife since then. She never raised her voice against it. Police said that he even harras her physically. Why the hell Indian women to endure such nuisance.  

He has been sent to jail for 2 years and he has to pay 10,000 Rs to the court. What a judgement the court has given. years of pain the lady has suffered from and that man got only 2 years of imprisonment.

Amy Ashraf Unnisa, 45, lodged a complaint in 2013 after her husband threw her out of the house for not getting additional dowry. She said that her parents gave 2.5 tola gold, a scooter and household articles at the time of their marriage, yet he demanded an additional Rs 3 lakh. Unnisa stated that Shareef and her in-laws used to harass her mentally. 

We seriously live in a country where our women's cant even raise their voice against the wrong. What should we call it now “proud to be an Indian”?
