Jamshedpur: At Seraikela-Kharswan district, a man, 37 year old attacked with a sword and seriously injured by his cousin in Bahar Sai.
Superintendent of Police, Inderjeet Mahatha about the case said, “The victim, Sukumar Kar Chaudhary, was returning home after taking a bath in a river when his cousin Bumper Chaudhary attacked him with a sword and seriously injured him”
He adding says that, “Bumper (28) reached the Kharswan police station after the incident and confessed to his crime”
A long standing land dispute is stated to be the cause behind the attack, he said.
As per thePolice said an FIR has been registered in this esteem and investigation is proceeding.
