In Muzaffarnagar, a court has sentenced a man to life imprisonment for murdering his mother in 2011.
The Additional District and Sessions Judge, Gaurav Kumar Shrivastava, has also imposed a fine of Rs 20,000 on Luvkush, holding him guilty under Section 302 (murder) of the IPC.
According to the prosecution, he shot his mother Saroj after she opposed his relationship with a woman. The incident took place on November 19, 2011.
