New Delhi: Delhi Police Special Team arrested Ariz Khan alias Junaid, he was involved in many bombing incidents including 2008 Delhi serial blasts, 165 people died in incidents in which he was involved. Pramod Singh Kushwaha, DCP, Special Cell Delhi Police addressed the press meet as informing.

 Most wanted Ariz Khan 32-year-old engineering graduate was on the run since the September 2008 Batla House encounter, where two IM suspects were gunned down and two others were detained by the police.

Khan had a bounty of 15 lakh on his head to arrest as reported India Today, as announced by the National Investigation Agency, had plans to revive the IM.

Khan was there at the Batla House building along with four others alleged supporters and had managed to run off during the encounter in 2008, said a special cell officer.

Times Now reported that Khan is wanted suspect for his alleged role in the 19 September, 2008, serial blasts in Delhi in which 30 people killed..

This is the second biggest seize for the Delhi Police in 2018 after it detained Abdul Subhan Qureshi from Ghazipur on 22 January who was also known as 'India's Osama bin Laden'.He was the main conspirator of the 2008 Gujarat serial blasts in which over 50 lives taken.
