Bus conductor Ashok, who was left in jail in Pradyumna Murder case, spoke to a News Agency and said that he was beaten by the Haryana Police not only badly but also in a brutal way. He said that the police wanted Ashok to confess to the murder charges and that was why he was beaten to an untimely death. 

Ashok said that the police tortured him. The police struck him with a stick and even made a curt. However, Ashok's position is not right in jail. He is feeling very weak.  Her mother said that whenever she spoke to Ashoka, he used to say that he is innocent. When he returned, he started crying. There has not been any meeting since then. 

Ashok reached his home after 76 days. Bus conductor Ashok Kumar of Ryan International School was released from jail and reached home after being detained for 76 days. Kumar was arrested for the murder of Class II student Pradumman Thakur. Ashok Kumar told the media after the release, "I am thankful to God that he has given me justice." 

His family said that it is a great relief that the innocent members of his family returned home. A member of the family said, "Haryana Police forced third degree to confess him to the crime and police gave him intoxication."  Kumar's lawyers handed over his bail to the jail authorities after three o'clock in the afternoon and after completing the formalities, he was released from prison in late evening.

A senior jail official said, "After scrutinizing legal documents, Kumar was released at around eight o'clock in the night."  The people of Ghumroj village of Kumar's village near Sohna were present outside the Bhodasi jail from morning till morning, and he welcomed Ashok after he got out. It is noteworthy that 42-year-old Kumar was arrested on the exact same day, when the seven-year-old body of Pradyumnaan was found in the school bathroom.
