In south Kashmir, the police have arrested three drug peddlers and seized 40 kg of poppy straw from their possession.
The official as per the sources news said 'During routine checking on the Srinagar-Jammu national highway at Marhama in Anantnag district, a police party yesterday intercepted a truck bearing a Punjab registration number'
The truck was impounded and the driver arrested, the official said, adding the police have registered a case.
