Chhatarpur: A man who was selling milk was attacked and killed with an axe in the Bamnoora police station area of Chhatarpur district. Police have registered a case of murder against three persons. The father of the deceased alleged that three persons from the village had killed his son due to a land dispute.

According to the same report, the body of Balachandra (35) son of Asharam Yadav, a resident of Kachhayakhera police station Shahgarh district Sagar, has been recovered near Harpura nullah in Halavani. The incident is said to have taken place around 8 am on Thursday. The deceased's father Asharam Yadav told police that Balachandra had left home around 7.15 am to sell milk as usual. Half an hour later, he was found lying injured in Hemraj Lodhi's field near Harpura nullah in Halavani. He had axe wounds on his neck. There was bleeding.

The same Balchandra Yadav was brought to Ghuwara Hospital with injuries. The doctors referred him to the Bada Malhera Community Health Centre when the situation was serious. Doctors at Bada Malhera Hospital declared him brought dead on sight. The deceased's father Asharam has accused Lakhan Yadav, Hargovind Yadav and Chhote Yadav of the village. He told the police that a land dispute is going on with the criminals. SDOP Rajaram Sahu rushed to the hospital as soon as he came to know about the incident. He directed the police to arrest the culprits. Police registered a case of murder against 3 persons on the designated report of the case.
