New Delhi: The BJP has given a complaint to the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), alleging horse-trading of councilors in Delhi. A delegation led by BJP MLA Vijender Gupta visited the ACB office on Saturday evening to file a complaint against Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and other AAP leaders. BJP's newly elected councilor Monika Pant has said in her complaint that she has become a councilor by winning the MCD election from ward number 206 on a BJP ticket.

He alleged that Arvind Kejriwal, AAP MP Sushil Kumar Gupta, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, Sushil Gupta's representative Shikha Garg and other AAP people are trying to gain their support by luring BJP councilors. He said that AAP leader Shikha Garg called me on my phone on December 9 and said that she wants to come to my house to talk about something. I did not understand and I allowed them to come. He called me back at 8.52 pm and asked for the location of my house. Which I sent them on WhatsApp. At around 9.30 pm she came to my house and introduced herself and said that Kejriwal, Sushil Kumar Gupta, and other senior leaders were making various offers, including several posts, to get the votes of BJP corporators in the mayoral elections.

In the complaint, BJP councilor Monika said that Shikha Garg tried to lure me in many ways to vote in favor of AAP. I was surprised to hear that. To which I immediately said that I am a BJP worker and will not let the party suffer for my personal interest. I declined his offer. After that, she (Shikha) left my house. I also have screenshots of calls and WhatsApp chats on the phone. Also, Shikha is visible in the CCTV cameras of my house.
