Dehradun: A case of 'love jihad' has come to light from Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. A girl named Kanchan, a resident of Ambala, has accused a Muslim youth of Uttarakhand of having a relationship by hiding religion and then pressurizing her to convert. Talking to the media, the girl said, 'I am a resident of Ambala. 4-5 years ago I met an ambulance man in Ambala. He came to my hospital. He had told his name as Bunty.
The girl told that, Bunty had come into the relationship with me by pretending to be a Hindu. He made some videos of me, due to which he took me in the trap of marriage. He called me to Dehradun by lying in the name of opening a hospital. Coming here I came to know that he is married and the father of three children. Kanchan further said, 'When I tried to back down, he started blackmailing me. Said marry me. Be a Muslim When I refused, he made my videos viral and started sending them to my family. Because of this, I had to have a relationship with him.
Kanchan further told that, one night my health was bad, glucose was rising, so he came to the hospital and said that come to my room. When I refused, assaulted me and my staff. I have filed a complaint in the matter. All I want is that I get justice and the money he has taken from me, he gets. Kanchan told that she is a staff nurse by profession. In the case, Hindu organizations have demanded strict action against the accused, alleging 'love jihad'.
