Hollywood actor Kevin Spacey arrived at Southwark Crown Court as his trial for a series of alleged sex offences against four men that allegedly occurred over a 20-year period of time was continuing. On the way to Sir Elton John's White Tie and Tiara Ball, Spacey allegedly attacked a man in a car, according to the prosecution's testimony in court yesterday.

The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, claimed that the Oscar-winning actor "thought he could groom me" in a police interview, which was shown to the jury.

The witness also recalled transporting Spacey to an expensive entertainment event in the early 2000s and related how the actor grabbed him violently, nearly leading to an accident. The observer retaliated by admonishing Spacey not to do such things again. If you repeat that, I'll knock you out. The man claimed that young, attractive men were warned about Spacey's behaviour and advised to exercise caution. He claimed that Spacey's inappropriate behaviour was widely acknowledged.

In response to a question from Spacey's attorney about whether the encounters caused him to question his sexuality, the witness expressed his disgust at the Hollywood actor's behaviour and denied feeling any excitement about the encounters, calling the question "ridiculous." The witness disclosed that Spacey would try to grope him and make him feel uncomfortable, but that Spacey was really a "predator" who was "aggressive."

As accused of committing crimes involving grabbing, squeezing, and touching his four victims' genitalia and buttocks over their clothing from 2005 to 2013—mostly while serving as artistic director at The Old Vic theater—Spacey, 63, has been referred to by the prosecution as a "sexual bully." Between 2001 and 2004, there were three indecent assaults and four sexual assaults. The five additional offences were committed between 2005 and 2013.

One of the alleged assaults, according to an alleged victim yesterday, allegedly took place in a car on the way to Sir Elton John's $1 million White Tie and Tiara Ball at the Rocketman singer's Windsor home.

Kevin Spacey has entered a not guilty plea to charges of indecent assault, sexual assault, and encouraging an unconsented sex act. The two-time Academy Award winner is still being tried despite numerous allegations of sexual misconduct.
