Kidnapping and Extortion: Case filed against 6 including 4 policemen

New Delhi: Six persons, including four police personnel, have come to light in Noida, adjacent to the country's capital Delhi, for kidnapping a man and taking him to a police station and forcibly taking two cheques worth Rs 5 lakh each. Noida Police has registered an FIR in this regard.

According to police information, six persons including four police personnel kidnapped a man and took him to Indirapuram police station in Ghaziabad where he was forced to  give a cheque of Rs 5 lakh in case of money transaction. A spokesman for Police Commissioner Alok Singh said, ''that Lilu, a resident of village Garhi Chaukhandi, has complained to police stastion  that Rajendra Yadav and his son Amit Yadav and four policemen had come to his house in a car around 8.30 am on Saturday.

The spokesperson said Lilu had borrowed some money from Rajendra which he had later returned. Even though Rajendra was asking him for money. On protesting, the accused forced Lilu, his brother Salek and nephew Jitendra into the car. He then took him to Indirapuram police station in Ghaziabad and extorted the money from him.
