Adele, British star, achieved five trophies at the 59th annual Grammy Awards. Beyonce, for the first time, performed as a 'Queen' with a baby bump. Others at the awards denied to shy from slamming US President Donald Trump through acts, speeches, and dressing styles.

Adele received top honors like Record of The Year, Album of The Year, Song of The Year along with trophies for Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album Awards. Surprisingly, she refused to take home the title of Album of The Year for she believed Beyonce deserves this more than her.

Adele said, "I can’t possibly accept this award, and I’m very humbled and very grateful and gracious but my life is Beyonce, and the album to me, the ‘Lemonade’ album."

Another attraction of the awards night was the Beyonce's performance in her baby bump for 'Love Drought' and 'Sandcastles' from her album 'Lemonade'. The singer was applauded with a standing ovation from the audience, including her husband Jay-Z and daughter Blue Ivy Carter.

Defeating the likes of Kanye West and Drake, Chance the Rapper won three nods for Best New Artist, Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Album for “Coloring Book”.
