Aligarh: Danish Rahim, a student of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), has alleged that he is being harassed by the AMU administration for praising PM Narendra Modi and asking him to return his PHD degree. Danish has sought the intervention of THE PM. However, the university administration has dismissed the student's allegations. PHD scholar Danish Rahim has also filed a petition in the high court in the case. He says the AMU is sending notices asking them to return the linguistic degree and instead take a degree in LAM. He says this is happening because he praised PM Modi. The case has reminded people of Thakur Ajay Singh's statement.

In fact, in April this year, Thakur Ajay Singh, a Hindu student leader from AMU in Uttar Pradesh, was banned. Not only that, they were also banned from studying further. Thakur Ajay Singh, who was raising his voice over the harassment of Hindu students, was, in a way, deprived of the right to education in AMU for a lifetime. He was suspended only on February 13, 2019. Their entry to other institutions affiliated to the AMU was also banned.

The AMU had then sent a report to its disciplinary committee for a final decision. He was also summoned before the committee and for attending the vice-chancellor's office. AMU claims that Thakur Appeared before the Ajay Singh Disciplinary Committee and was given every opportunity to make his point. The letter issued by the AMU said that student Thakur Ajay Singh said he respected the university and did not want to hurt anyone. He had said that even if something unfortunate happened, it was due to lack of understanding.

It was claimed that Ajay was regretting his behaviour. The Vice Chancellor has now issued an order that the results of thakur ajay singh's LLM examination should be released at the earliest. They are also banned from any further studies in the university. However, he has open options to appeal against the decision with the Executive Council of the AMU. In February 2019, other students of the AMU were accused of beating hindu students and burning their cars, injuring Ajay Singh. Students from AMU had also assaulted the media. FIR was also registered in the case. Ajay Singh had to spend a week in the hospital due to spinal and head injuries. Hindu students then protested against the AIMIM. It was alleged that violence against Hindu students was sparked by the instigation of AIMIM.

Talking to media, Ajay said that he was also sent a 'show cause notice' by the university to take out the 'Tiranga Yatra'. He even received the same notice when he organized a tribute meeting of late PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He said bjp leaders were opposed in AMU, even the President was opposed. Thakur Ajay Singh points out that in 2019, AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi's programme was proposed here and an attempt was made to form a Muslim front comprising all Islamic parties in the country. He said, "We opposed Asaduddin Owaisi. We also had firing. Our trains were burnt. 15 trains were set on fire by searching the internet. At the same time, we were suspended. I have now been banned for further studies as well. I'm out of university now. I was also in a family problem. Now I will approach the High Court. Earlier also I had helped from the court. '
