Pune: A piece of tragic news is coming out from the Pune district in Maharashtra, where a major road accident has occurred due to the overturning of a tractor-trolley in Daund Taluka. In which 3 women have lost their lives. While 5-6 women have been injured. They have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. It is being said that the accident took place while removing a tractor-trolley full of tomatoes in Ravangaon of the Taluka.
A tractor-trolley full of tomatoes was being removed from the field in Ravangaon around 5 pm on Thursday. Due to this, the driver lost control of the tractor. Subsequently, the tractor-trolley overturned in the thirty-second trench of the Khadakwasla canal. There were also women labourers in the same trolley, who were going to their homes after working in the fields all day.
Villagers also reached the spot as soon as the news of the tractor-trolley overturning and women being buried under it. People started the rescue work. After about an hour, people pulled out the women with the help of JCB machines. All of them were admitted to the hospital for treatment. Three women were declared dead by doctors. It is being said that all the women were working as daily wage labourers. The women who lost their lives in the accident belonged to the same settlement and were daily wage labourers. She did not know that the trolley in which she was going home would put her in the mouth of death. The death of the woman has spread mourning in the settlement. People shuddered to see the condition of the bereaved families.
