New Delhi: An agreement has been made between the world's leading tech company Google and the Ministry of Information Technology for a program called 'Build for Digital India'. In a statement yesterday, Saturday, Google said that the event will provide a platform for engineering students to develop solutions designed for a technology-based market that deals with social problems.
IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad K said, 'This initiative will not only encourage college students across the country but will also present some good technology solutions to some of the country's major social challenges. Google said that under this, engineering students from across the country will be invited to present their ideas and solutions on topics like Health, Agriculture, Education, Smart City and Infrastructure, Women Safety, Smart Transport, Environment, Disability and Access and Digital Literacy.
According to the company, participants will be able to take advantage of online and offline learning opportunities for new technologies such as machine learning, cloud and Android. Googles will also provide training sessions in product design, strategy and technology to the most likely product and prototype. Let us know that Digital India is one of the ambitious projects of the Modi government. The government is working to promote paperless culture through this scheme.
