Alpesh Rawal is an influencer, entrepreneur and the owner of garba academy Nav9Rang. He battled his way through life and reached where he is today. He was a gold medallist in Mumbai university of Engineering and he is an MBA in marketing.Since his childhood, Alpesh has been really fond of dancing and navratri used to be the festival he always awaited.But, there was a turnover of events in his life. After his MBA, Alpesh worked for a private bank. It wasn’t easy for him considering he had to travel through crowded trains, but he hurdled his way through the tough times. Times got tougher and he started questioning himself and his existence. The depression kicked in and he did not know what he was doing with his life.
When life threw stones at Alpesh, he got a hold of those stones and started building his life. After he recovered from his depression, he had complete support of his family and friends for whatever he wished to do. He got a job at a construction company with a mass of 500 employees and he’s a partner now!
After reaching the peaks of success, he now decided to pursue his passion towards dancing and garba and thus, founded and became the owner of Nav9Rang garba academy. It wasn’t an easy journey considering there were many competing academies, but he did not seem to stop. He worked hard, step by step and reached the heights of success with his garba Academy. The sleepless nights and hard work finally did pay him off. He was truly passionate about his academy and worked day and night to grow. His legacy is known across India and he has conducted sessions in major cities of India like Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore and many more.
Upon being asked why he wanted to pursue this ambition, Alpesh said, “I don’t intend to live with any regrets. We have one life to live and and I want to make the most out of it.” He is truly an inspiration to many who think they can’t pursue their passion.
During the pandemic lockdown, Alpesh started his journey as an influencer. Since, everything else was shut and he started getting DMs from brands for collaboration. At first, Alpesh was skeptical regarding these collaborations but, after getting a push from his friends, he decided to give it a shot and now there’s no looking back. It’s been 4-5 months since he started his journey as a content creator, and because he already had a mass who followed him over social media platforms due to his garba academy, it was easy to get engaging followers. He has worked for over 50 brands and some of the prestigious brands like Flipkart, Amazon, lays, doritos, lays and the list goes on.
His life has been filled with many hurdles, but he did not stop. Some of his life lessons are truly inspiring;
1 Be consistent. You need to be consistent in what you start. Never procrastinate or stop midway. Keep working till you reach a point of recognition.
2 Aim to be successful not famous. People often forget that the reason they started doing something was to be successful and not to be famous. Your wok defines you. Keep grinding till you reach the successes that you’ve set for your life, being famous is never important.
His wisdom and motivating words have always seemed to influence the ones who are in his company. With his never ending hunger and grinding, Alpesh is making his way towards the heights of success and is working tirelessly towards his garba academy. He now wishes to conduct shows on international level and work towards opening different franchise.
