Amritsar: In the ongoing election rhetoric in five states, the sharpest allegations and counter allegations are being seen in Punjab. The war of words is going on between former Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh and state Congress unit president Navjot Sidhu. Now Sidhu has targeted Captain and Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) chief Sukhbir Badal. Sidhu has made serious allegations against both the leaders while addressing a press conference in Ahmedgarh, Ludhiana.

On Captain Amarinder, who resigned from the Congress and formed an alliance with the BJP, Sidhu said that he is licking the feet of the BJP for personal reasons. Sidhu further said that the captain talks about the double engine, while his (captain) engine has stopped since then. Making a scathing remark about the Captain, Sidhu said that the Captain went with the BJP after being kicked out of the Congress. The Captain was not ashamed of going against the party which made him the CM for 10 years.

Sidhu tried to surround this Captain Amarinder Singh by throwing up controversies related to his family. Sidhu said that Captain Ta-Ta Thaiya is doing this because his Jamai (son-in-law) was sued for Rs 200 crore in the Jarkanda Trust dispute. Since then the captain has been moaning in pain. They are fighting not for Punjab but to save their lives. Sidhu said that the captain says that he will defeat him, but what will he get by defeating Sidhu?

Let us inform that Suman Toor, the elder sister of Sidhu, who lives in America, has made a big claim. Suman is currently in Chandigarh, where she alleged during a press briefing on Friday that Navjot Sidhu had thrown her and her mother out of the house after her father's death in 1986. Toor claimed that his mother had died at a railway station in 1989. He further said, 'We have seen very difficult times. My mother was in the hospital for four months. I have documentary proof of whatever I am claiming.
