Araria: Rice businessman Aman Gupta was shot dead by criminals on Sunday night in Bihar's Araria district. While the relatives and workers who were with him injured Rahul Kumar Gupta. The incident took place near Sonapur in Bathnaha-Virpur road in Bathnaha police station area of the district and near Balugarh village in Bhodhar. The deceased businessman was coming back to Forbesganj after recovering his dues from the bike. Meanwhile, the miscreants attacked him with a bullet after executing the robbery.

Shot after robbery: It has been learned that criminals looted about two and a half lakh rupees from the owner and his workers of Forbesganj's Messrs Gupta store, who were returning from Bhodhar late evening and then shot. Killed and severely injured them. Here, the locals rushed the two injured to Forbesganj Sub-Divisional Hospital for treatment, where doctors on duty declared Aman Gupta, a rich businessman, dead. While referring the seriously injured Rahul Gupta for better treatment. In this case, the doctors said that the two youngsters had received one tablet each. The deceased Aman Gupta was shot under the thigh and navel, while the severely injured Rahul Gupta was shot in the thigh.

Six were the culprits: Here, in connection with the incident, the severely injured Rahul Gupta said that both of them were coming back to Forbesganj from Bhodhar. Meanwhile, a total of 06 armed criminals, riding on 3 bikes, surrounded them and looted about 2.5 lakh rupees, and fled towards Bathnaha. The culprits were aboard Apache, Shine, and TBS Baik.

Deceased, a native of Kushinagar in UP: It has been learned that Aman Gupta, father of 27 years, father self. Surendra Gupta was a resident of Kasia Kushinagar in Uttar Pradesh and was the brother-in-law of Abhishek Kumar Gupta, the proprietor of the Messrs Gupta store in Forbesganj. He was in Rice's business in Araria, doing business of rice. The deceased was the youngest of two brothers. Whereas, the severely injured Rahul Gupta is a rice businessman.

Police officers, including MLA, reached the hospital: According to the information received, Forbesganj MLA Vidyasagar Kesari alias Manchan Kesari, DSP Srikant Sharma, in-charge DSP Forbesganj Police Station Nirmal Kumar Yadvendu, Ani Vijendra Kumar Singh, and other police officials reached the sub-divisional hospital and inquired about the incident and inquired about the case of the injured.  Knowing the status of the matter, they started investigating the case. At present, the DSP in charge in this case seems to be avoiding saying anything. At the same time, the Forbesganj BJP MLA expressed concern over the incident and demanded early arrest of the culprits involved in the incident.
