The impact of natural disaster is being seen in the country. 34 people have died due to floods in Assam. On Thursday, one more death has occurred due to this flood in Matia district. At the same time, more than 16 lakh people are affected in 22 districts. The Assam State Disaster Management Authority informed about this. Authority said that after another death due to floods in Matia district, a total of 34 people have died so far. While 16,03,255 have been affected in 22 districts of Assam and 12,597 people are staying in 163 relief camps. Dhemaji, Lakhimpur, Biswanath, Darrang, Nalbari, Barpeta etc. are named in 22 affected districts.

Local people said that the government has not provided any kind of help in their area. No one has reached their area to inspect. Which is a matter of concern. Also, these people said that the state government should help us and provide some relief. The situation here is very bad.

Many districts of the state have been raining heavily. Due to which situation of destruction has arisen. Already, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted a cloudy day at Dibrugarh on Monday for the next 4 days with some rain or thunderstorms generally. Normal life was disrupted after the villages located in Kalabhova area of Dibrugarh due to heavy rains and waterlogging in the state. The situation was faced by villagers of Tinsukia district. Meanwhile, locals were taken to safer places in the Guijan region.
