Islamabad: A Sri Lankan national was killed on the beach road in Pakistan for "blasphemy" and now the defence minister has defended the attackers saying that the children who burnt the factory manager alive are children and have done all this out in excitement. According to him, if they are also excited, they can make such a mistake.

In the murder case of Sri Lankan national Priyantha Kumara, Pakistan Defence Minister Parvez Khattak said, "There are children, they grow up, they are Islamic, they are more in their thinking, they get excited, it does not mean that if they do this, it becomes 'it'. This is everyone's own thinking. The boys gathered there. He chanted Islam that it is a work against Islam. They got into a state of emotion. The work was done suddenly. That doesn't mean everything has gone wrong. '

Parvez continued, 'Please explain to you people. They are young, they get excited. If I too get into the spirit of din, I will do wrong. This does not mean that Pakistan is heading for destruction. The Defence Minister further asked the journalist, 'When you were in college, was there emotion in you? It was. Don't say this when we were crazy (in our youth), when we were young, ready to do anything. But as we grew, we realized that we had to maintain the emotion. Children have to fight, there are killings, that means that it is the fault of the Government. '

Brushing aside the allegations against his government, the Defence Minister cracked down on the journalists. Parvez said, 'You people put everything on the government - why don't you change this mindset? You question me. You guys come forward. Come to your anchor, tell everyone the words of din. But you people just take ads, make money... They do not talk about din, they do not talk about training, nor do they talk about health. All you have to do is make money. The brutal murder of Priantha Kumara has been condemned all over the world, but the Pak Defence Minister is describing her as a work done by the children in a spirit of enthusiasm. Will it not lead to such brutal and gruesome incidents ?
